Netmarble's Vampir is now available in the U.S. on PC, iOS, and Android. The game launched in South Korea in 2025 and has recently expanded west, and it's aiming at a corner of the MMORPG genre that has been mostly empty: vampires.

Blood, horror, and sexuality are the core of the experience, with brutal combat set in a dark fantasy world. All five classes are aggressive damage dealers that use blood-draining abilities to heal and pick up temporary buffs. Carnage fires rapid-volley guns, Bloodstained swings a sword in berserker mode, Viper relies on poison, curses, and summons, Grim Reaper teleports in and strikes with a scythe, and Akasha specializes in chasing down enemies in melee.

If you'd rather not fight other players, you can level up and gather resources on individual servers. If you do want the fight, Gehenna is an inter-server PvP zone that opens early. Clans battle for server honor, bosses appear at set times, and seasons reshuffle server matchups so no single clan dominates for long.

Monetization runs through Diamonds, which you can earn in the field up to a weekly limit, and the gacha summons that use them. Non-Legendary pulls earn Care Points, and lower grades award more, so a streak of Commons actually moves you closer to a Legendary. Pity systems usually punish bad luck, so it's a clever twist. There's also a launch event offering a Designated Heroic Mount Summon Ticket, 100 million Gold, and a set of Rare Equipment at the start.
