Crimson Desert's next expansion, Charting the Unknown, is out October 29 for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC, with Play Anywhere support. The big headline feature is the one the herd has been asking for: the first real ocean exploration in Pywel.
Dive beneath the waves to find ruins, treasure chests, and new creatures and mounts, or build your own ship and sail the Great Ocean. The DLC also brings three new storylines, one each for Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane, all picking up after the fight for the Greymanes is over.
Life in Pywel gets more involved, too. Characters can build deeper bonds with locals that can grow into romance and marriage, housing now lets you design a home from the ground up, and liberated castles can be decorated or leased out as working businesses like a restaurant or smithy. For players who want a harder fight, the Garden of Trials throws you against the bosses you've met so far, one after another.
Xbox players can also try the base game with a 5-hour free trial starting October 29, which runs into early January.
