Amazon MGM has reportedly picked up streaming rights to Alex Garland's live-action Elden Ring movie, at least for a bundle of international pay-1 territories. The terms are undisclosed, but Prime Video subscribers in those regions will likely be first in line once the film reaches the service.

According to Deadline, sources say the deal is worth tens of millions of dollars. That will help with the film's reported $200 million budget, which would be A24's biggest ever.

A24 is reportedly being tight-lipped about the movie. It is flying staffers to international buyers so decision-makers can read Garland's script under supervision. Deadline now puts the script at 180 pages, which could mean a runtime near three hours. That would be a big jump for Garland, whose longest film to date, Annihilation, runs 115 minutes.

Kit Connor is reportedly the lead, and the role is speculated to be a Tarnished warrior. The film is set to be presented at the American Film Market in Los Angeles from November 10 to 15, though footage will probably stay away from the public. The movie is slated for theaters and IMAX on March 3, 2028.

Three hours of Lands Between is a lot to ask of anyone, but at least nobody can accuse this adaptation of rushing its lore.
